Taking Public Transportation:
The Philadelphia Art Alliance is centrally located in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, within walking distance of many public transportation terminals. Save money and a headache by taking public transportation to the Art Alliance.

Regional Rail, Market-Frankford, or Broad Street line riders: take your respective train to City Hall/Suburban Station, follow signs for the 18th St. & JFK Blvd. exit at the west end of the underground concourse. Exit on 18th St. and walk south 5 blocks to Rittenhouse Square, Art Alliance is located at the Southeast corner of the square, directly adjacent to The Barclay.

Driving Directions:

From Northern and Western PA (via PA Turnpike):
PA Turnpike or NE Extension to mid-county toll plaza (476 South). Follow I-476 South approximately 4 miles south to Exit 16 for I-76 East toward Philadelphia. Follow I-76 East into Philadelphia city limits, merge left at exit 344 for I-676 East towards Central Philadelphia. Immediately exit to right for 23rd St. toward Ben Franklin Parkway. Turn right at 23rd St. Continue on 23rd St. 5 blocks south, turn left onto Market St east toward City Hall. Continue on Market St. 6 blocks, turn right on 17th St. south. Follow 17th St. 5 blocks south, turn right on Spruce St. One block down make a right onto 18th St, Art Alliance will be on the right hand side.

From Southern NJ and Atlantic City (via Walt Whitman Bridge):
Take the Atlantic City Expressway to Route 42 North, then to 76 West. Follow signs for the Walt Whitman Bridge. Cross over the bridge and follow signs for 76 West to the 30th Street Station Exit. Upon exiting make a right onto Chestnut Street and follow Chestnut Street east to 21st Street. Make a right onto 21st Street and follow south for 5 blocks to Pine Street. Make a left onto Pine Street and follow 3 blocks east to 18th Street. Make a left onto 18th Street, Art Alliance will be 1 1/2 blocks up on the right hand side.

From Baltimore, Washington, Phila. Airport, and Points South (via i-95):
Take 1-95 North past the Philadelphia International Airport. Follow the signs for I-76 West (via 291 bridge, make left at 26th St for I-76 West). Take I-76 West to the 30th Street Exit. Make a right at first traffic signal (Chestnut Street) and follow Chestnut Street to 21st Street. Make a right onto 21st Street and follow south for 5 blocks to Pine Street. Make a left onto Pine Street and follow 3 blocks east to 18th Street. Make a left onto 18th Street, Art Alliance will be 1 1/2 blocks up on the right hand side.

From New York, New Jersey and Points North (via NJ Turnpike):
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 4, following signs for Philadelphia and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Take Route 73 North, Exactly 1.4 miles, exit for Route 38 West. Take 38 West for 5.2 Miles. Follow 38 West right onto Route 30 West. Follow signs for Ben Franklin Bridge. Cross over Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia, stay left and follow signs for I-676 West towards Central Philadelphia. Merge onto I-676 West, continue to Broad Street/611 exit. Merge onto 15th Street going south, continue heading south to Spruce Street, make a right. Follow Spruce Street 3 blocks west, make a right on 18th Street. Art Alliance will be on the right hand side.
