CLASS TRIP SCHEDULING Reservations: Please call 215 545-4302 ext. 13 to schedule a tour. Tours may be docent-guided or self-conducted. Both require reservations. Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Friday: 11 am – 4 pm Group Size: Tours are designed for classes of up to 25 students. Larger groups may be accommodated by special arrangement prior to the visit. Admission Fees: $ 1.50 per student unless otherwise noted. Chaperones and teachers are admitted free of charge. It is recommended there be one chaperone for every six students in grades 3 to 6. For children in grades 2 and under, additional chaperones are suggested. Visit preparation: Educators will receive a confirmation prior to a scheduled visit. Exhibitions have pre-visit materials, which will be mailed approximately two weeks prior to the visit. The pre-visit material and the rules of conduct should be reviewed prior to the field trip. Educators find that students who understand why they are visiting the gallery and know what to expect find the visit experience greatly enhanced. Accessibility: Tours are available to all students. Please inform the Art Alliance of any special needs that your students may have when making your reservation. Educator's Pass: One free-admission educator's pass will be sent to teachers with a confirmed booking. Please use this pass to make a pre-trip visit to the Art Alliance to prepare for your school visit.
INTERNS Interns work closely with our professional staff to gain knowledge about various aspects of gallery work such as: administration, development, education, public relations, curatorial and planning special events and community programs. Every effort is made to tailor the duties of each individual intern to coincide with their particular academic and professional goals.
