Fancy a little something sweet? Join us for "The Craft of Candy: Philadelphia and the Candy-Making Tradition" with Ryan Berley, co-owner of Shane's Confectionery in Old City. "The Craft of Candy" will be part presentation, part lecture, part Q&A, and (happily) part tasting. Berley will discuss Philadelphia's candy-making traditions and its place in our city's contemporary landscape. Each attendee will receive both a chocolate and clear toy from Shane's, the oldest confectionery shop in the United States!
