Wednesday Workshop: Follow Your Imagination

$5.00 PER CHILD.

CAREGIVERS ARE FREE AND MUST ACCOMPANY CHILD.

Artists of all kinds follow their imaginations to create their work. In this week's workshop, we will read the classic children's story, Harold and the Purple Crayon, by Crockett Johnson, and discover how artist Carolyn Lathan-Stiefel's imaginative exhibition Greenhouse Mix evokes nature through found objects and repurposed materials. Then, see where your own imagination will take you by creating art with sidewalk chalk. Please note, the workshop will begin at 10am at the PAA. If weather permits, we will go outside to Rittenhouse Square for the craft portion of the day.

Wednesday Workshops are a series of educational workshops for children ages 3-5 held at the Philadelphia Art Alliance. Children enjoy an interactive tour of the PAA's current exhibitions and are led in related activities and crafts by The PAA's Educational Programs Coordinator, Joanna Grim.
